What to expect:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and operating cloud-based backend systems across energy, connected-vehicle, and data-management domains. Your work will span:

Cloud & Backend Development

• Design, develop, and operate scalable backend services and APIs
• Build microservice-based solutions using modern frameworks (Java/Spring, .NET/C# or Python depending on service area)
• Integrate devices such as wallboxes and energy systems into cloud platforms
• Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka and related technologies
• Ensure system reliability, observability, and performance through monitoring, logging, and automated testing

Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps

• Work with AWS or Azure cloud environments, container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS Fargate, OpenShift), and IaC tools (Terraform)
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and secure runtime environments
• Apply cloud-security best practices in distributed systems

Data & Platform Engineering

• Build and optimize large-scale data management systems
• Implement APIs and backend components for data ingestion, storage, and governance
• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis)
• Support AI/ML and analytics teams with reliable data infrastructure

Collaboration & Leadership

• Work in empowered agile DevOps teams with end-to-end ownership
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams across global locations
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices
• Participate in technical design, architecture discussions, and long-term platform evolution

Who You Are:

You are an experienced backend or cloud engineer with a strong foundation in modern software development and a passion for building scalable, secure, and high-impact systems. You bring:

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend or cloud development
• Strong skills in Java/Spring, .NET/C#, or Python
• Experience with cloud platforms, microservices, CI/CD, and container orchestration
• Solid understanding of event-driven architecture, API design, and distributed systems
• Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases
• Experience with monitoring, observability, and automated testing
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in diverse, cross-functional teams
• A structured, analytical mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Fluency in English
