Do you want to help shape the technology behind tomorrow's autonomous transport? At TRATON Autonomous Development, we are building a platform that enables safe, scalable, and intelligent autonomous transport solutions. We are now looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our growing team.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will work closely with both hardware and software, developing our software platform that enables autonomous driving applications. You will collaborate with teams across the organisation and contribute to solutions that make a real impact on future mobility.

You will:

• Develop and integrate software for our autonomous platform.

• Configure and refine networking and communication interfaces, configure the operating system, in an automotive environment.

• Test and verify functionality in bench setups and rigs, ensuring high reliability.

• Analyse how changes affect the full system and bring a holistic perspective.

• Work closely with other teams to create robust, scalable platform solutions.

Who You Are

You are a curious and skilled engineer who enjoys solving complex challenges in a collaborative environment. You feel at home in embedded systems and Linux-based development, and you like seeing your work come to life in real vehicles.

You have:

• A degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Embedded Systems, or similar.

• Solid experience in C++, Linux, and ideally Rust.

• Experience with embedded or automotive systems and network configuration.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across teams.

It's a Plus If You Have

• Experience with Docker/containers, Python, or similar tooling for automation and development workflows

• Knowledge of GPU-accelerated compute environments (e.g., NVIDIA-based platforms or general GPU scheduling/optimization concepts)

• Experience working in a scaled agile environment

• A C/CE driver's license
