Tieto Payments and Cash Management is a leading provider of payments and cash management software and SaaS solutions in the Nordics, with a strong foundation and a clear ambition for international growth. We develop secure, scalable account-to-account payment and liquidity management solutions for banks, serving both retail and corporate customers through their primary banking relationships.
The business is part of Tieto Cards and Transaction Banking within Tieto Banktech. Following a sustained strategic focus on payments and cash management, we are now strengthening our commercial leadership by appointing a Senior Sales Manager to accelerate growth and build long-term customer partnerships.
The Opportunity

The geographic scope will be defined jointly based on your experience and market opportunities. You will work closely with pre-sales, product, delivery, and marketing teams, and play a visible role in shaping our go-to-market execution and commercial success.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving sales and business development activities to build a strong, high-quality pipeline aligned with our growth strategy
- Owning and managing complex sales processes, from early engagement through to deal closure
- Leading contract negotiations and coordinating bid teams in competitive sales situations
- Executing go-to-market plans in close collaboration with sales, marketing, and product stakeholders
- Building trusted, long-term relationships with prospective customers and senior decision-makers
- Maintaining ownership of sales cases until structured handover to delivery
- Developing and closing commercial contracts and project statements of work
- Supporting customer-related compliance, audit, and governance activities
- Contributing to thought leadership and market positioning in the payments domain
Your Background and Experience
- A demonstrable track record of winning new, strategic, long-term customer engagements
- Strong experience within payments, cash management, or transaction banking
- Experience in B2B software or SaaS sales (an advantage)
- Proven negotiation skills, including complex commercial and contractual discussions
- Hands-on experience in drafting, negotiating, and closing contracts
- Excellent executive-level presentation and communication skills
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional major European languages are a plus
Who You Are
- Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable taking full ownership and accountability
- An engaged and open-minded team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Confident in influencing, collaborating, and driving change
- Comfortable operating with autonomy and ambiguity in a growth environment
- A role model who leads by example and enjoys challenging and inspiring others
What We Offer
An opportunity to shape the future of payments and cash management in a growing and strategically important sector, supported by an open, collaborative culture, flexible hybrid working model, and a strong emphasis on learning and professional growth.
Interested?
We review applications on an ongoing basis and encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
On selected positions, background checks may be conducted.
Application deadline: 17 April 2026
