Job Description

In this role you will work with maintaining and developing solutions within and connected to our Salesforce platform. You will translate user needs into technical solutions with high quality. The complexity of the role will make your days challenging and fun and the problems you will take on will inspire you. Who is your future team?

Our team leverages the Salesforce platform to provide essential tools for our global sales, marketing, and support organizations. We need individuals who understand both Axis's business and the technology within our platform and underlying on-prem systems to succeed in our mission.

The team is composed of various roles, including IT product owners, architects, technical lead, production lead, Salesforce developers and admins.

We are all working together to create the best environment for everyone to utilize their skills and creativity.

You will also collaborate with business analysts and business product owners to refine and process requests and have close collaboration with other teams to create solutions that span over multiple systems.

Our team is always ready to lend a helping hand, offering support when you're stuck and a sounding board for your ideas when you need inspiration.

What you'll do here as a developer:

You will solve problems, turn user needs into technical solutions by creating and maintaining system support for our business processes. You will connect data from different sources through integrations to and from the salesforce platform. This will enable co-workers around the world to have the best circumstances to take the right decision or be able to help a partner or customer. Take responsibility to ensure our system remains clean, structured, and optimized.

Furthermore, you will:

• Develop front-end and back-end solutions within the salesforce platform with lightning web components and Apex
• Develop and maintain integrations and supporting applications in AWS, Kubernetes and Linux
• Maintain, improve and replace existing solutions as the platform evolves and new technologies are introduced

Additionally, you will:

• Manage data quality and dataflow within the Salesforce platform and integrated systems.
• Participate in and take responsibility for planning and estimating your work and the team's work.

Who Are We Looking For?

You are a passionate problem solver and a team player with many years of experience as a developer working with SaaS-platform. You have no problems understanding and translating user needs into technical solutions and you can foresee and explain consequences of choices being made in the development. You have a user centric starting point in your technical suggestions. You are hungry for knowledge and are never done learning new things that you can add to your toolbox. You have a true interest in technology and follow news about trends in the software development industry, always looking for that new thing that could help you with your next project.

We'd love to hear that you have:

• Extensive experience with JavaScript and expertise in frontend frameworks such as React and Angular, along with HTML and CSS
• Significant experience with object-oriented programming languages, with a strong emphasis on Java.
• A proven track record in SaaS-platform development and architecture.
• Demonstrated experience building and managing complex integrations, both on-premises and cloud-based.
• In-depth knowledge of message-broker technologies like RabbitMQ or similar.
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS, as well as containerization and orchestration technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Fluency in English, with excellent communication and presentation skills

It's a plus if you:

• Worked in Git and have experience from Gerrit and Jenkins.
• If you have experience from other global enterprise companies.
• Dedication to testing, code reviews and other quality-oriented practices supporting workflows are highly valuable.
