Senior Project Manager Android Infotainment Systems - Göteborg

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and coordinate complex software development projects focused on Android-based infotainment systems for a major automotive supplier. In this role, you will oversee cross-functional teams and collaborate with internal stakeholders, external partners, and suppliers to ensure timely and quality delivery of infotainment solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale Android infotainment projects in an automotive context.

Define project scope, goals, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with technical and business stakeholders.

Coordinate with development, testing, HMI/UX, and integration teams to ensure smooth execution.

Manage project risks, dependencies, timelines, and resources.

Ensure compliance with automotive standards and development models (e.g., ASPICE, Agile/Scrum, V-model).

Communicate status updates to internal and external stakeholders, including reporting to senior management.

Drive continuous improvement in project execution processes and tools.

Required Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in project management of large-scale software projects, ideally in the automotive infotainment domain.

Strong understanding of Android Automotive OS and its integration into infotainment systems.

Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Background in software engineering or system architecture for automotive applications.

Experience working with OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers.

Understanding of HMI/UX and multimedia systems in automotive environments.
