Senior International Key Account Manager

We're looking for an International Key Account Manager to join our international Consumer Unit (CU International), Fazer's Sales division focusing on driving our international business growth beyond Finland and Sweden.

As the International Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives and fostering commercial growth among international grocery and hybrid retail clients throughout Europe. You will work to expand Fazer's presence in new markets and managing key customer relationships to increase net sales.

Your responsibilities:
  • Customer management and growth: own and grow strategic relationships with key international customers, negotiate directly, and lead joint business planning and cross-border initiatives to expand partnerships and acquire new customers.
  • Price risk mitigation and coordination: monitor and manage cross-border price disparities and align pricing strategies across countries to ensure consistency and protect profitability
  • Market intelligence and collaboration: monitor international buying organizations, provides strategic recommendations, and works cross-functionally with sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment and share best practices across markets.

You will directly report into the VP, Head of CU International, and work directly with the Market Directors of Denmark, Norway, Poland, Germany, and Travel Retail. Furthermore, you will have a dotted line to the VP Sales Finland & VP Sales Sweden, with whom you will work closely exchanging functional expertise and best practices from our other consumer units Finland and Sweden. You'll also be working cross-functionally with other colleagues from sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure feasibility and alignment of international initiatives.

This is permanent position, located in our office in Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen or Vantaa.

What do we hope you bring to the team?

You possess notable business acumen, a track record of achieving results, and expertise in developing sales strategies. A data-driven approach, along with strong analytical and financial abilities, is critical. Exceptional skills in influencing, collaborating, negotiating, communicating, and managing stakeholders are essential. You can work effectively within a matrix organization and influence teams across different functions and regions.

We expect you to have:
  • Proven experience in FMCG sales or key account management, ideally with international scope.
  • Master's degree in economics or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of the European and/or Nordic grocery retail landscape and buying group structures.
  • Proven track record on successfully managing a complex matrix organization role.
  • Fluent English language, other European languages are an asset.
