Role Overview

The client is seeking a Senior Electronic Hardware Engineer to contribute to the development of advanced electronic systems within the automotive domain. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional development teams, testing environments, and external suppliers to ensure robust and high-quality ECU platforms and hardware solutions.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise combined with the ability to manage complex engineering challenges and support both development and validation activities.

Job Description

In this assignment, the consultant will be responsible for designing and enhancing electronic hardware systems while supporting requirement engineering and validation processes. The role also involves translating complex technical concepts into structured insights that can support informed decision-making across teams.

The consultant will act as a key technical contributor, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure alignment, quality, and efficiency in hardware development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and refine electronic hardware designs for automotive applications

Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with technical and quality standards

Contribute to requirement definition, analysis, and validation processes

Translate complex engineering challenges into clear and actionable insights

Engage in technical discussions with internal teams and external suppliers

Provide support to testing teams, including troubleshooting and verification activities

Collaborate with rig and validation environments to ensure system reliability

Assist in resolving ongoing technical issues while supporting new development initiatives

Drive alignment across multiple ECU-related projects and stakeholders

Experience Requirements

Extensive experience in electronic hardware design and development

Strong background in automotive electronics and ECU systems

Proven experience in requirements engineering (definition, analysis, and review)

Experience working with cross-functional teams and external suppliers

Ability to manage multiple technical tasks in parallel within complex environments

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
