How you will make an impact

As Senior Director Foodservice Sweden, you will lead Arla's Swedish Foodservice business with full P&L accountability, driving sustainable growth and profitability in line with Future 28. You will set a winning strategy for the Swedish market, inspire a high-performing team of around 35 professionals, and build strong partnerships with key customers and industry stakeholders. In close collaboration with the Global Foodservice Leadership Team and the Swedish Leadership Team, you will shape the broader business agenda and represent Arla externally across the foodservice ecosystem. The role sits in Arla Europe, is part of the SE leadership community, and is a permanent position based in Solna.

Your key responsibilities

• Define and execute the Sweden Foodservice strategy, translating market insights into actionable growth plans across channels and customers
• Inspire, mentor, and develop a high-performing foodservice team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous growth
• Own the P&L and annual/long-term business plans, optimising mix, pricing and net revenue to deliver growth and profitability
• Lead innovation and portfolio development, leveraging customer needs and insights from other markets
• Build and maintain top-to-top relationships with key customers, wholesalers and public sector partners; negotiate strategic agreements and tenders
• Drive operational excellence aligned with Arla's sustainability and digital transformation ambitions; lead change and capability building across a 35-person team

You are a seasoned commercial leader in foodservice with a strong strategic and executional track record. You combine customer-centricity with financial acumen, and you thrive in matrixed, cross-functional environments. Success in this role is built not only on deep industry expertise and strong strategic acumen, but especially on the power to inspire and develop others. Exceptional leadership-defined by the ability to motivate teams, nurture talent, and cultivate a high-performance, growth-focused culture-is at the heart of what makes a meaningful impact. The capacity to lead with vision, adapt resiliently in a complex environment, and empower people to achieve ambitious goals is absolutely essential.

Additionally, we believe you have

• Several years of senior commercial/sales leadership within the foodservice industry, ideally with P&L ownership and managing large budgets
• Deep knowledge of the Swedish foodservice landscape, channels and key customer segments; proven success in customer development and top-to-top engagement
• Strong experience in strategy development, portfolio/innovation, pricing and net revenue management
• Experience operating in matrixed organisations; effective collaboration across local and global teams. Exposure to both local and international roles is a plus
• Academic background in Business, Marketing or related field is beneficial; executive leadership programme participation is an advantage
• High proficiency in Swedish and English
