For a client inGothenburg, Sweden,we are looking for aSenior DevSecOps Engineer (Freelance)to support a Digital Services environment focused on automation, scalability, and secure cloud-native architectures.

You will work in an enterprise production setup where your contribution directly impacts platform reliability, deployment speed, and system performance at scale.

This is a long-term freelance engagement with3 days onsite in Gothenburg and 2 days remote, enabling close collaboration and influence on technical decisions.

This is you

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering, including enterprise production environments
• Strong coding skills (Bash, Python, Java, TypeScript)
• Solid AWS experience (CloudFormation, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy)
• Strong background in CI/CD, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (Everything-as-Code mindset)
• Experience with serverless technologies and event-driven architectures
• Hands-on with automation tools (Packer, Ansible, Chef) and process automation
• Confident working with Linux, monitoring tools, and observability
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Jenkins installation, maintenance, and lifecycle management
• Open-minded, proactive, and eager to learn

Nice-to-have skills:

• Kubernetes
• Artifactory, Xray or other vulnerability scanning tools
• SonarQube
• GitHub or Gerrit
• AWS CDK
• Database management

This is your role

• Automate, develop, and maintain services and infrastructure
• Provide runtime support for infrastructure and services
• Ensure stable and reliable runtime environments
• Support and coach development teams on technical topics
• Contribute to platform improvements and development roadmaps
• Continuously improve reliability and efficiency through automation
