Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Developer / Architect - Card Issuance & Payment Platforms to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Take senior responsibility for developing and modernizing a high-security card issuance platform within the fuel and service sector.

Lead architectural decisions and guide best practices to ensure scalable, secure, and compliant solutions.

Design, develop, and oversee backend services and integrations with payment partners, PSPs, and banks.

Drive migration and integration activities with external partners while ensuring adherence to regulations such as PCI DSS.

Collaborate closely with product owners, internal teams, and external stakeholders to define and deliver technical solutions.

Provide technical leadership, support, and mentoring to development teams.

Ensure that all design, implementation, and documentation meet regulatory, security, and quality standards.

What you bring:

Extensive experience in card issuance, including lifecycle management, PIN handling, EMV, personalization, and HSM usage.

Strong understanding of the complete payment ecosystem from acquiring to clearing and settlement.

Proven background as a Tech Lead, Solution Architect, or Senior Developer in complex environments.

Solid experience in backend development with Python, Java, or similar technologies, including Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.

Hands-on experience with FastAPI, Django, databases, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), cloud platforms, and IaC tools such as Terraform and Ansible.

Strong Linux skills and a basic understanding of frontend technologies such as React and JavaScript.

Deep knowledge of security, encryption, and relevant compliance frameworks.

Excellent communication skills and confidence in engaging with both technical and operational stakeholders.

A self-driven and solution-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, complex environments and provide supportive technical leadership

Fluent in English and Swedish.
