Assignment Description

We are looking for an experienced Cobol developer

What You Will Work On

Developing and maintaining Cobol-based applications supporting payment flows

Integrating a new payment engine with existing legacy and mainframe systems

Supporting modernization initiatives while ensuring stability of core payment processes

Collaborating with architects, integration teams, and business stakeholders

Contributing to improvements in payment processing efficiency and reliability

Managing technical debt while enabling gradual system modernization

What You Bring

Several years of hands-on experience in Cobol development

Experience from banking or financial services environments (meriting)

Strong knowledge of integrating legacy systems with modern IT platforms

Experience working with mainframe-based payment solutions

Structured and quality-focused approach to development

Ability to work in complex system landscapes with high reliability requirements
