Om jobbet

Are you passionate about the changing regulatory environment and its impact on the financial industry and its participants? We are now looking for a Senior Business Analyst who can join us on our exciting journey.

About the role

As a Senior Business Analyst in the Regulatory Reporting team, you will work with regulations related to transaction reporting of financial instruments and ensure that SEB continues to meet the continuously evolving regulatory reporting updates and requirements. A key part of the role is to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into clear, SEB specific business requirements, as well as to analyze how these rules impact the various CIB product areas. You will be an important voice in ensuring the regulatory and product perspective in project deliveries and in the continuous refinement of our daily regulatory operations. You will collaborate closely with CIB product areas, Trading Services, and Technology teams within an agile delivery setup.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Reading, interpreting, and assessing new and updated regulatory requirements and analyzing their impact on SEB's business and products.

• Documenting business requirements and working closely with agile teams to translate these into detailed requirements.

• Contributing to regulatory investigations, preparing responses for NCAs, and conducting deep dive analyses when supervisory queries arise.

• Facilitating and supporting significant incidents, coordinating with stakeholders, securing root cause assessments, and ensuring timely and high quality communication.

• Working side by side with CIB product areas to ensure business readiness and alignment.

• You will, through an analytical approach, solve business problems, both on your own and in teams, and engage stakeholders throughout the SEB organization.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have:

• 5+ years of experience in the financial industry.

• Experience in performing impact assessments and in transforming both business needs and regulatory requirements into detailed business requirements.

• An understanding of regulations affecting trading and financial instruments, and the ability to interpret and apply them.

• Strong analytical mindset and high attention to detail and experience working in an agile environment.

• The ability to work independently as well as in teams, and to collaborate with stakeholders at different levels of the organisation.

• Strong analytical abilities and a structured, solution oriented mindset, with the ability to produce high quality work under tight deadlines.

You have an academic degree in Finance, Business, IT, or equivalent. Your main working language is Swedish, and you are fluent in English, both spoken and written. Experience from European regulations impacting financial instruments (EMIR, MiFID, SFTR) is expected, and specific experience with EMIR is meriting.

What we offer:

SEB and Regulatory Reporting Office offer you a global environment with plenty of opportunities to grow your network. With the learning goals of SEB and surrounded by highly skilled specialists from different areas, your competence growth and learning opportunities will be extensive. We offer a flexible, hybrid working model with the option to work up to two days per week from home.

It is our fundamental belief that inclusion and diversity is crucial for our future success. We strive to have an inclusive, value-driven culture where employees feel valued, respected, and involved irrespective of who they are, what they believe or where they come from.
