Assignment Overview

We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer

What You Will Work On

Conduct a comprehensive technical review of the existing automation system.

Analyze and restructure PLC and HMI applications to improve maintainability and transparency.

Review communication structures including EtherNet/IP and IO-Link integrations.

Evaluate IO configurations, power distribution systems, and related process equipment.

Ensure architectural clarity and documentation to enable long-term internal ownership.

Support troubleshooting, system optimization, and technical improvements.

Participate in phased delivery, prioritizing critical system areas.

Produce clear technical documentation, reports, and system assessments.

What You Bring

M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar technical field.

Documented hands-on experience with:

Rockwell CompactLogix (especially 1769-L33ER)

Studio 5000 / RSLogix 5000

FactoryTalk View (HMI/SCADA)

EtherNet/IP

IO-Link (preferably ifm AL1920)

Phoenix Contact CAPAROC (PM IOL + E1)

Ewon Cosy 131 and Talk2M

Strong understanding of industrial control systems, network topologies, and troubleshooting methodologies.

Practical experience reading, verifying, and restructuring PLC and HMI projects.

Fluency in Swedish and English (spoken and written).
