About the Assignment
We are looking for an R&D Project Manager to plan and execute new development and base development initiatives. You will drive projects from concept to implementation, ensuring delivery with the right quality and strong alignment across business, R&D and operations. The role involves close collaboration with multiple stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams, including team members located off-site.
You will be part of an R&D Project Management Office and report to the R&D Project Office Manager.
Job DescriptionDefine project goals, objectives, scope/exclusions, plans and budget together with the project team
Create project activity plans, resource plans and secure effective follow-up
Lead feasibility and implementation projects and ensure delivery on time, within scope and within budget
Support marketing with business cases and ROI analysis
Ensure internal processes and standards are followed throughout the project lifecycle
Lead and coordinate project teams in a multi-site/off-site setup
Motivate, coach and enable the team to achieve high performance and quality
RequirementsRelevant university degree in engineering and/or several years of practical engineering experience
Solid technical understanding of the client's equipment, covering both underground and surface applications
Proven project management capabilities, including change management and knowledge of established project management methodologies
Ability to work in a structured way with transparent, regular follow-up and clear stakeholder communication
Proven experience from product development and project management
Experience leading multi-cultural project teams where parts of the team are located off-site
Fluent English
Nice to haveSwedish language skills
Experience with agile and lean project management
