Your role and responsibilities


This role is contributing to the robotics system application test team in Västerås, Sweden. You will collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to foster an environment that supports continuous integration of hardware platforms, with a strong emphasis on test automation to maximize efficiency.

Each day, you'll identify and implement innovative solutions to relevant challenges. You will also demonstrate your expertise by contributing ideas and working both independently and as part of a Research & Development (R&D) team.

Your responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Software Engineers, Electronics Engineers, UX experts, Product Owners, and other stakeholders, embracing daily learning opportunities.
• Bring positive energy and contribute to a supportive team culture.
• Partner with testers and developers to enhance and innovate the testing toolbox for both software and hardware.
• Write, execute, and document test cases and scenarios.
• Continuously improve lab environments (6S, Safety, Automation, Cell installations).
• Take ownership of your deliverables and personal development.

Qualifications for the role

• Masters degree or minimum 2 years' experience with Bachelors degree.
• You are enthusiastic about introducing robotic solutions in new fields.
• Experience with software development in C# and/or RAPID.
• Additional experience in domains of automation engineering (PLC programming languages) and industrial communication protocols (OPC UA) is a plus.
• Experience with collaborative software development tools in terms of IDEs (Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Eclipse, ...) and git-based collaborative development workflow
• You are positive, humble, self-driven, and result-oriented with great collaboration skills.
• You enjoy taking on interesting challenges and finding solutions together with others.
• You have a few years of relevant experience, or much more, we welcome applicants across all seniority levels.
• Strong English communication skills; fluency in Swedish is a plus.
