The opportunity

Components in Ludvika is a part of Business Unit Transformers at Hitachi Energy. We are Hitachi's largest manufacturer of transformer components such as tap changers and bushing. A global customer base both within and outside Hitachi contributes to a business-driven work climate where every product and contract is equally important.

We are now looking for a Quality Specialist with a digital focus to help us take advantage of the massive amounts of data we have available and to strengthen our team in the current expansion of our business. To succeed in this role you need to have the drive and capabilities to follow through on improvement initiatives all the way to implementing improvements in the business. You are a structured person with the ability to enthusiasm coworkers. A practical mindset and a doer mentality is key to be successful!

You will be part of a team reporting directly to the Quality Manager of Components, the team is responsible for the overall strategic quality work for both out Factories (Bushings and Tap Changers) which gives opportunities to be part of the continuous development and improvement of two different production businesses.

How you´ll make an impact

Supporting the organization in driving improvement activities preventing quality issues

Performing high quality root cause analysis, identifying, and driving implementation of preventive actions

Visualizing production quality performance to drive issue resolution and continuous improvement

Developing and implementing statistical control methods in our production

Your background

University degree in Technical, Quality or within similar field

Experience in quality related work, familiar with L6S, root cause analysis, statistics

Solid communication skills, ability to address and build trust on all levels of the organization

Proficient level of English (written and spoken)

Proficient skills in MS Office (word, excel, powerpoint)

Knowledge and abilities in PowerBI is meritorious

Knowledge and abilities in visualization of data is meritorious

Lean6Sigma Green- or Black Belt is meritorious
