Our plant in Karlshamn is amultifunctional facility. All the company's business areas are representedhere. Swedish-grown rapeseed is an important raw material, while a largevariety of vegetable fats are shipped directly to the Karlshamn factory fromproducing countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas. The Nordicregion is an important home market, while specialty products are exported fromKarlshamn to customers all over the world.
About the position
The Quality Assurance SustainabilitySpecialist is part of the Quality team at site Karlshamn and collaborates with otherdepartments, e.g. production, sourcing & trading, order, HSE, financeand other functions to make sure we have the right quality for our products andcustomers. The QA Sustainability Specialistassures compliance with regulatory requirements, certification standards andinternal company procedures for products manufactured in our production processesin Karlshamn.
The work as a QA SustainabilitySpecialist will be focused on driving continuous improvements in our sustainabilitysystems as well as being involved in tasks related to mass balance follow-up.
The position is full-time,and you will be based in Karlshamn, Sweden.
Main responsibilities:
- Support implementation of procedures to ensure compliance with legislation and our sustainability standards e.g. RSPO, Rainforest Alliance, ISCC, Proterra
- Coordinate handling of internal deviations and continuous improvement initiatives
- Conduct internal audits
- Manage certification audits and coordinate corrective action plans to close any non-conformities
- Coordinate the sustainability team at the site and interact with the global sustainability team
- Perform internal training
- Follow up on mass balances and report results. With the new EUDR regulations there will be an increased reporting of SAP Tokens
- Update and review routines in our management system
Who are you?
To be successful inthis role, you hold a Master of Science in Engineering or an equivalent degreein Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or the Sustainabilityfield. It is advantageous if you have some years of experience from a similarposition or have knowledge about sustainability management systems, legislation, certification standards, sustainabilityreporting and frameworks. You need to be accurate, structured and have analytical skills as you willbe working with mass balance reporting and information in our ERP system.
We value goodcooperation skills, that you are driven in your way of working and can perform andprioritize your work based on set goals. We expect you to have the right skillsto perform tasks accurately without continuous supervision but seeking inputfrom others as needed.
Furthermore, it isbeneficial if you have strong teamworking skills, and you enjoy working bothindividually and within a team. You need to have the ability to communicate withauditors, customers and people on different levels within the organization. Asa person, you enjoy working with continuous improvements, mass balance complianceas well as supporting initiatives to create a positive sustainability culture.
