Who is your future team?

You will be part of our ITQA team, which is responsible for quality assurance of the software deliveries of several of our most critical and complex IT systems and solutions. In our daily business our test engineers work in one of the many development teams which are responsible for developing and maintaining the different products and services. As part of our ITQA team you will have colleagues who share the same view of quality assurance and who together work for continuous improvements and increased quality of our software deliveries.

About the role

We are building an in-house AI service that supports multiple products across our organization. As a QA/Test Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring that our AI platform is reliable, scalable, and trustworthy.

This role goes beyond traditional testing. You will help define quality practices for AI-driven systems, collaborate closely with the engineers and product teams, and shape how we validate models, data, and APIs.

What you'll do here as QA/Test Engineer?

As a QA/Test Engineer within ITQA you will drive the quality assurance and test work forward, both together with your colleagues in the ITQA team and within the test area and development team for the AI-service.

You will be responsible for:

• Design and execute test strategies for our AI services, including APIs, data pipelines, and model outputs
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other QA/Test engineers to define quality requirements early
• Validate AI behavior, including correctness, robustness, edge cases, and regressions
• Build and maintain automated tests for backend services and integrations
• Support monitoring and quality checks in production (model drift, data issues, unexpected behavior)
• Contribute to improving QA processes, standards, and tooling across teams
• Act as a quality advocate for AI development, balancing speed, risk, and reliability

Who are you?

You're a quality-minded engineer who's curious, analytical, and comfortable working in complex systems. You enjoy exploring how software behaves - especially when it doesn't behave as expected.

You're motivated by continuously making products more reliable and trustworthy, and by improving ways of working.

You take ownership of quality and are confident raising questions or concerns, while remaining pragmatic and solution-oriented. You enjoy collaborating closely with others, clearly explaining risks and trade-offs, and influencing how quality is built into products from the start.

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer science or from a related engineering discipline
• Experience as a QA Engineer, Test Engineer, or similar role in software development
• Strong understanding of backend systems, APIs, and data-driven applications
• Experience with test automation (e.g. API testing, integration tests, CI/CD)
• Curiosity and critical thinking when validating complex or non-deterministic systems
• Ability to collaborate across teams and work in a hybrid QA model
• Comfortable working in an evolving environment with new technology
