The Project Quality Manager will report to the Quality Director and will perform the duties described in the job description below
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, have an attention to detail, be a problem solver, have strong technical knowledge, and be team oriented.
Job Description
Preform inspections actives as per project specific inspections and test plan- includes fabrication n inspection, Buy ought system inspections
Evaluate/ Audit supplier for Quality System
Maintain log of request for inspections received- allocate RFI & transmit to concern for necessary actions
Review, Comment, approve supplier manufacturing, test procedures, Plans, quality records
Coordinate with suppliers for Inspection activity
Assist site Quality manager for Inspection activities as and when required
Ensure inter department communication for QA/ QC Inspection activity for project
Compile EDMR documents for project
Co-ordinate for Local TPIA inspector and customer inspector when required
Implement NCR handling system and NCR log for Project
Purpose Corrective/ Preventive actions when requested
Consolidate Inspection schedules for project- Customer submission
Support PM/ PE for various inputs on supplier Quality issues
Other duties as assigned
Skills
Sc/MSc in Mechanical / Materials / Industrial Engineering (or similar)
5-10 years in quality management in steel/metal fabrication or heavy industry
Proven experience managing quality in welding, fabrication, inspection, non-destructive testing, materials traceability
Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 (and ideally ISO 14001 / ISO 45001)
Experience leading quality teams and driving continuous improvement / root cause analysis / CAPA
Fluency in Swedish and English (written & spoken)
Excellent communication, leadership, analytical thinking, and stakeholder-management skills
Preferred: Swedish/EU standards familiarity

Qualifications
Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering
Five (5) or more years of experience in a project-related industry
Prior water/wastewater infrastructure project experience preferred.
