Kalmar's Counterbalanced division is seeking a Project Manager who is able to effectively lead product development projects within the established scope, budget and timeline while fulfilling defined quality standards and project targets.
What are your key responsibilities:
- Project Management: Manage, lead and deliver complex projects; develop project plans, resource plans and budget; ensure projects achieve goals within planned timeframe, budget and quality
- NPD Execution: Lead and manage New Product Development (NPD) projects and its project teams from concept through launch and industrialization by ensuring fast, effective, and on-time project execution.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as point of contact and bridge between project sponsor, steering group, resource managers and team members to manage expectations, scope, quality, resources and risks; coordinate meetings with cross-functional professionals
- Leadership: Lead and coach team members to ensure activities are implemented effectively; coach stakeholders, team members and other concerned parties in project management expectations and execution
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure all documentation, test reports, certificates and manuals are ready before delivery; maintain risk register for assigned projects; ensure project methodology and tools are used; ensure that compliance and contractual requirements are fulfilled
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously support improvement of tools and methodology for lean, agile, and efficient project management

What you bring to the role:
- Educational background: University degree and/or project management training (willing to consider experience in lieu of degree and/or formal training)
- Experience: Experience leading new product development and complex projects within an international environment; proven cross-functional collaboration and leadership skills
- Competencies: Strong leadership skills; people and team building skills-coaching and mentoring to develop high performing teams; ability to inspire and motivate people building trust; energetic with a good driving force and result oriented; Flexible and adaptive- creative with the ability to deal with ambiguity;
- Technical Competencies: Google Drive including Sheets/Slides; Jira (preferred)
- Language and Communication: Fluent in English and Swedish; excellent communication skills
