Key responsibilities
- Project and Program execution
Lead the planning, execution, and follow- up of software deliveries while efficiently managing dependencies and risk efficiently. Ensure that software development aligns with system requirements and architecture.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration
Build efficient program and project teams, provide direction, and fostering open communication to achieve objectives efficiently.
- Stakeholder collaboration
Manage relationships and communications with stakeholders, including upper management, product management, IT, engineering, supply chain, and market, ensuring transparency and involvement.
- Strategic planning
Establishing goals and plans by understanding and aligning with long-term organizational goals, securing the project expected benefit and business case.
Qualifications and experience
- Extensive experience in managing software development projects within a product development environment, preferably in complex systems integrating both hardware and software components.
- Strong understanding of how hardware and software components interact, including interfaces, integration and testing.
- Several years of experience with agile methodologies, combined with the ability to adapt to hybrid approaches incorporating elements of a more traditional waterfall model.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional engineering teams and manage technical dependencies.
- Strong skills in identifying and managing technical risks related to software delivery and hardware integration.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at both operational and strategic levels.
- Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent degree.
- It is highly meriting if you also know how to facilitate session to create and update system anatomies.

Additional information
The position will be part of the Division Product Development and will report to the Swedish PMO manager at Product Development. This is a full-time permanent position based at DeLaval's headquarters in Tumba, south of Stockholm. We offer a hybrid workplace model, allowing flexibility to work remotely. Travel will be part of this position.
