Your role and key responsibilities:
As a production and quality control specialist, you will be an integral part of the Biolin Scientific Sensor Team. You will have a key role in the daily in-house sensor production using state-of-the-art thin film deposition techniques like sputtering, spin coating and other deposition techniques. You will also perform quality control on produced sensors using Quartz Crystal Microbalance with Dissipation (QCM-D) technique. Other tasks will include packing and shipping of produced goods. Moreover, you will be responsible for production documentation, QC outcomes and take part in the production and shipping process.
As a production specialist and quality controller, you will:
Collect materials and run sensor production as per sensor production daily/weekly plan.
Perform QC- inspection, and document outcomes and observations in Quality Management System.
Packing, labeling, storing and shipping goods according to set procedures.
Meet planned production/delivery deadlines and secure product stock at defined inventory level.
Keep production and QC equipment, area clean and organized.
Keep packing and shipping material in an orderly manner to provide for a frictionless shipping process.
Actively take part in product continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Documented work experience in a production and QC environment.
High school diploma or equivalent education preferable within in the field of chemistry, engineering or science.
Excellent English writing and communications skills.
Experience of working with quality management system such as (ISO 9001) and production planning system (Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)) would be considered as highly advantageous.
Knowledge and experience of thin-film deposition technology and materials development would be considered a strong merit.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
A well organised person with a solid can-do attitude accompanied with a curious mindset.
Valid work permission to work in Sweden (Company will not sponsor work-visa for this position).
