We are now looking for a Product Development Engineer - R&D Ceramics to join our CFW team and drive innovation across our Ceramics, Furniture and Wellness product lines for bathroom and kitchen environments. Gustavsberg's journey to becoming one of the leading bathroom suppliers started over 200 years ago, and now we are looking for someone who wants to help shape the next generation of products and leave a lasting impact in millions of homes.
About the role
As a Product Development Engineer at Gustavsberg, you will support industrial design initiatives, develop product specifications and manage BOM structures. You will also be responsible for change management processes to ensure product lifecycle quality in line with company standards.
In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to deliver on project objectives and drive continuous improvements across products and operations.

What you bring to the team:
It is considered a plus if you have experience within the ceramic components industry, ceramic manufacturing or related valve technologies. Experience with PIM systems and eBOM management tools is also beneficial, as well as knowledge of relevant regulatory standards within CFW product areas. Hands-on experience in testing and prototyping is an advantage.

This is a full time position, primarily based in Stockholm, at our HQ in Gustavsberg.

About the role
As a Product Development Engineer at Gustavsberg, you will support industrial design initiatives, develop product specifications and manage BOM structures. You will also be responsible for change management processes to ensure product lifecycle quality in line with company standards.
In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to deliver on project objectives and drive continuous improvements across products and operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform 3D modelling and create technical drawings for components and assemblies
- Translate product requirements into specifications and engineering tasks
- Build and maintain eBOMs and ensure accurate PIM data
- Manage change processes and maintain proper documentation
- Collaborate closely with Product Management, manufacturing and supply chain to meet project goals
Who you are

What you bring to the team:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience in 3D CAD modelling and PDM/PLM systems (preferably Siemens NX, SolidWorks, Inventor or similar)
- A strong understanding of materials and product development
