High Voltage Breakers is a business unit within Hitachi Energy located in Ludvika, Sweden. The unit has worldwide responsibility for the development, production, and sale of Hitachi Energy High Voltage Breakers for both AC and DC power systems. High Voltage Breakers are essential part of reliable and energy efficient power systems.

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Material Planning Manager to lead our dynamic team of 10 member in a fast-paced work environment! In this role you'll have the opportunity to play a critical role to ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently. With a focus on continuous improvement, you'll have the chance to drive positive change and make a real impact on our business.

Your responsibility

Managing the team by performing high quality analysis and identifying preventive actions

Securing material by working closely with our supplier base

Forecasting and analysing inventory levels to secure efficient routines ad

Identify and drive improvements in our purchase processes.

Your background

First and foremost, your personal qualities are vital for success! You have great leadership skills, never doubt acting and continuously seek knowledge and answers.

A bachelor degree in logistics or other similar area is seen as an advantage.

You are a positive role model with a supportive and problem solver mind.

You are confident in decision making, can set and reach goals both as a team but also independently.

Ability to approach work with a systematic way of thinking and propose solutions based on great analysis. Expertise of ERP systems is a merit.

Preferably you have experience in purchasing and logistics.

Required good communication skills and a team player. Fluency in Swedish & English, both written and spoken, as we use both language on a daily basis.

Be able to work in a global environment with a local focus.
