As part of our continued growth, Alvotech is expanding itsProcess & Product Development (PPD)team inStockholm, Sweden. We're seekingambitious and team-oriented individuals-from experienced professionals to recent graduates-who are excited to contribute to the development of high-quality biosimilars in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

In the Process & Product Development department, our scientists focus on developing and optimizing manufacturing processes and formulations for biosimilars. This includes:

• Cell Culture/Upstream Process Development: Developing and optimizing cell culture processes to ensure high yield and quality of the target proteins.
• Purification/Downstream Process Development: Isolating and purifying proteins to achieve the desired purity and activity levels.
• Formulations Development: Creating stable and effective drug formulations, ensuring they meet all regulatory and quality standards.

Our projects primarily focus on enhancing efficiency, scalability, and compliance with industry standards to deliver high-quality biopharmaceuticals.The available positions span these three specialized areas, offering opportunities to contribute to cutting-edge biopharmaceutical development.

Scope & Responsibilities:

• Laboratory work conducting experiments to develop efficient processes.
• Data processing and report writing.
• Maintenance of equipment and organization of laboratories.

Key Qualifications:

• Educational Background: A degree in natural sciences or engineering (e.g., biotechnology, biochemistry, pharmacy, chemistry, biology, chemical/biomedical engineering) or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience: Prior experience in similar roles is a plus but not required. We welcome recent graduates with a strong desire to learn and grow.
• Problem-Solving & Initiative: Proactive mindset with the ability to adopt new methods, tackle analytical challenges, and contribute to continuous improvement of ARD workflows.
• Team-Oriented Work Ethic: Strong communicator and collaborator with a disciplined, organized approach. Thrives in a dynamic, hands-on environment, enjoys learning new techniques, and works confidently with complex equipment.
• Language Skills: Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
