We are looking for a

Do you want to work close to production, develop new food products and be part of an international company with strong local roots?

We are now looking for a Junior NPD (New Product Development) Manager to join Biscuit International Sweden. We welcome both recent graduates and candidates with 1-3 years of relevant experience.

About the role

As a Junior NPD Manager, you will be part of our R&D/NPD team in Åsljunga and work closely with the R&D Manager and cross-functional teams. You will support and execute New Product Development projects - from idea to launch - in a hands-on, production-close environment.

Depending on your experience, you will either start in a more learning-focused role or take more independent responsibility within defined project scopes. Regardless of entry level, you will play an important role in developing, testing and improving our products.

You will be located in Örkelljunga and Åsljunga, Sweden and the role is 100% fulltime.

This position offers the opportunity to work across multiple functions - including marketing, quality, logistics, and production - and to contribute directly to profitable growth in an international environment.

Main responsibilities

Support and participate in New Product Development (NPD) projects - one of our key strategic growth pillars

Develop and test new recipes and product concepts in the bakery

Evaluate new raw materials and ingredients with focus on quality, sustainability and production efficiency

Collaborate with Procurement on alternative ingredients and suppliers

Plan, execute and document production trials and validations

Support improvements of the existing product portfolio

Troubleshoot product- and recipe-related issues together with Production

Monitor market and consumer trends and contribute insights to development projects

Work closely with Production, Quality, Procurement, Marketing and Sales

Participate in project meetings, timelines, follow-ups and reporting

Required skills & competencies

Analytical and solution-oriented

Hands-on and comfortable working close to production

A strong team player with good communication skills

Proactive and motivated to develop toward a more senior NPD or R&D role

Merits (preferred)

University degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology or a related field

Experience from food, ingredients or manufacturing is an advantage (internships and thesis work count)

Interest in bakery products and industrial food production

Good skills in MS Office, especially Excel

Excellent writing and speech in both Swedish and English
