We are seeking a skilled Software Release Engineer to join our Software Release & Configuration Management team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that software is released efficiently, reliably, and in compliance with automotive standards - supporting vehicle programs from development through production and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

Execute end-to-end software releases aligned with vehicle program milestones.

Manage software versioning, build integration, signing, and release approvals.

Create and maintain software part numbers and release documentation (e.g., SUMS, Loadfiles).

Ensure traceability and compliance of software packages across variants.

Maintain and synchronize diagnostic databases (e.g., Carcom, SDB) for consistency.

Coordinate cross-functional release sign-offs and track deviation resolutions.

Lead software release planning and alignment with external suppliers.

Monitor supplier delivery progress and manage software backlogs.

Conduct joint software reviews (e.g., SWJR) to ensure quality and integration readiness.

Support production rollout and resolve software-related issues in manufacturing.

Manage change requests impacting production or aftermarket software versions.

Contribute to software requirements and integration in early development phases.
