We are now hiring astructured and ambitious Merchant Operations & Control Specialistwho wants to drive operational excellence through clear ownership of processes and deliverables. Your mission at Epassi

As part of the Merchant team, you'll be strengthening and further develop our merchant operation and control department. Through the merchant onboarding processes you ensure accuracy and compliance in merchant workflows. You improve routines and processes for efficient reporting and traceability.

Your responsibilities will be:
  • Ownership over merchant control and the monitoring of affiliated merchants.
  • Create and maintain documentation and policies to improve our service offering.
  • Design and improve reporting and feedback capabilities to internal stakeholders.
  • Drive and coordinate the activation/onboarding process for new suppliers.
  • Identify improvement opportunities (automation, tooling, process flows) and initiate projects.

You will be successful in this role if you:
  • Reach targets for various projects within merchant operations.
  • Create clear and efficient reporting routines.
  • Secure merchant network quality.
  • Maintain and close new external partnerships to ensure controlling.

What you will be doing on a daily basis:
  • Manage the end-to-end completion process for affiliated merchants in relation to control requirements.
  • Oversee the activation and onboarding of new merchants.
  • Plan, execute, and document control checks of merchant connections and transaction flows.
  • Review, prioritize, and coordinate tasks within the Merchant Administration team.
  • Collaborate closely with external control partners and internal stakeholders across the organization.

What you should bring:
  • 3+ years proven experience working in a similar role successfully with payments, merchant operations or network/merchant onboarding.
  • A strong ambition to drive operational excellence, with clear ownership of processes and deliverables in a highly performance-driven, high-activity environment.
  • A growth mindset with a strong willingness to learn, develop, and progress in your role.
  • Hands-on experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Freshdesk, Jira), documentation tools (Confluence or similar), and CRM systems (preferably HubSpot), along with strong Excel skills.

Your language profile:
  • Fluent in Swedish and proficient in English, both written and spoken.

Your track record:
  • 3+ years proven experience working in a similar role successfully with payments, merchant operations or network/merchant onboarding.
  • A demonstrated ability to structure, document, and continuously improve processes and routines.
