Assignment Overview

We are seeking a Materials & Chemical Laboratory Engineer

What You Will Work On

Preparation and analysis of liquids and various materials such as powders, plastics, and metals.

Performing chemical analyses (e.g., acids, oils, fuels, cutting fluids) using relevant analytical instruments.

Documenting results and writing technical reports.

Providing technical support to internal and external customers.

Collaborating with process operators in areas such as surface treatment, test cells, and workshops.

Participating in the development and validation of new test methods and laboratory capabilities.

Supporting safety initiatives and capability studies.

Creating and reviewing routines within quality and management systems.

Driving and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Ordering and evaluating external laboratory tests when required.

What You Bring

Engineering degree in Chemistry, Materials Engineering, or equivalent competence.

Experience working in a laboratory environment.

Strong understanding of chemical analysis methods and related instruments.

Analytical, structured, and quality-focused mindset.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Comfortable working with IT tools such as MS Office and preferably laboratory-related systems.

Team-oriented, flexible, and proactive approach.
