We are now looking for a drivenLine Manager to theValve Cooling Design teams at HVDC. In this role you will lead the team to achieve ourstrategic objectivesthroughout excitingtransformation journeywe are experiencing due to the great market expansion.

This continuously expanding team consists today of around25+ engineersdistributed over 3 teams in two countries. Two teams are located in Sweden and one in India.

You will be part ofthe Valve management teamand report to the Global Manager Valve Cooling Design.

In this role you will be a key team player inleadinganddriving your teams part of ourstrategical transformation program: program aiming to have us improve our systematic quality approach, increase productivity as well as to continue expand with more employees.

The valve cooling design teams are responsible for thespecification,base design, engineering review and software application ofthe converter valve cooling forHVDCapplications.

Since the majority of the Swedish team is located inLudvika, we see this as the preferred hiring place. Västerås is however also possible since there is an HVDC office there. In the early phase of this role we see that you spend time in the office to get to know the team. Long term there will be possibilities towork remotelysome days per week.

Your responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate one the Valve Cooling Teams in Sweden
  • Lead and promote the implementation of our transformation strategy
  • Secure clear responsibility for team and process development to ensure Valve Cooling Design at HVDC are equipped to meet both challenges and opportunities ahead
  • Ensure your team delivers on time and with high quality to meet customer expectations
  • Take active part in the management team and work with a holistic picture
  • Make sure the team has a clear direction of systematically working with quality and continuous improvements

Your background
  • You have a bachelor or master's degree in engineering, business administration, or equivalent work experience
  • To be successful in this role, experience in similar engineering organizations is desired
  • You are open minded and willing to lead teams through change and expansion
  • As a leader you are communicative and help your team to translate visions and strategies into meaningful work
  • You are fluent in English, both written and spoken. Swedish is considered as a plus
