Private Wealth Management & Family Office (PWM&FO), part of the Wealth Asset Management division, provides tailored banking services, capital markets access, financing and advisory services to high net-worth individuals, foundations, investment companies and professional family offices. We operate across the Nordics and globally through PWM&FO International.

We are now looking for a Legal Counsel to join our PWM&FO Legal Team. You will report to the Head of PWM&FO Legal which is a global function.

About the role

PWM&FO Legal is the in-house legal department within the business area PWM&FO. PWM&FO Legal provides high quality business enhancing legal services to all PWM&FO's business units based on such units' and customers' various requirements. As a legal counsel you will work in close cooperation with such units and be a part of the advising, structuring, drafting and development of PWM&FO products and services. You will also assist the client teams with their daily handling of private law matters. Furthermore, as a legal counsel you will be involved in the implementation of new laws and regulations as well as various strategic projects connected to PWM&FO activities.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have

• a completed law degree;
• at least four years' legal working experience, at a reputable law firm and/or as in-house legal counsel. Previous experience working as in-house legal counsel at a bank is highly meritorious;
• extensive experience in one or more of the following areas: financing transactions, commercial contracts or private law matters;
• a proven ability to lead the legal workstream in strategic initiatives, offering proactive and business-oriented legal advice;
• strong analytical skills and sound judgment in assessing legal risks and providing clear guidance to PWM&FO business units and senior management;
• excellent collaboration skills and a service-minded approach, with the ability to build trust across diverse teams; and
• a genuine interest in PWM&FO's clients, products and the evolving landscape of private wealth management.

PWM&FO Legal works closely as a team but it is also important that you can work independently. We highly value that you have an advisory approach and strategic perspective but also a strong delivery capacity with attention to details. Also, you have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English.
