About the position

JIBS is now recruiting a Lecturer in Business Administration with a focus on Supply Chain Management to teach in our courses in this area during the fall semester.

The position involves various educational activities, including teaching and course development at the Bachelor's and Master's levels, as well as service to JIBS. Teaching is distributed over the semester and performed in English.

The applicant should be well-versed in the latest developments in research within the supply chain domain and should have experience teaching this subject at the university level. In the selection process, we will put great value on the candidate's aptitude for the organization, including personal qualities such as:

The candidate should have the ability to collaborate and build relationships and the potential to develop and lead in education and outreach, as well as be willing and able to contribute to a dynamic academic environment, including being present at JIBS throughout the semester.

Qualifications

To be eligible for the position, you must have a PhD in the area of supply chain management. You must also have documented experience in teaching supply chain management at the University level. Fluency in English, both in written and oral form, is required. You must also have completed a minimum of 7.5 credits of courses in pedagogy with a focus on teaching and learning in higher education.

It is also meritorious if you have:

published research in journals on the AJG list

experience of working with practitioners in the supply chain area

competency in both qualitative and quantitative research methods
