The environment is international, English-speaking, and engineering-driven, with experienced teams working on complex distributed systems.

About the role

We are currently looking for an experienced Java Developer to join a system-oriented team working on modern, cloud-native applications. The role focuses on backend development in a microservices architecture, with strong exposure to distributed systems, messaging, and containerized deployments.

You will work closely with other engineers, contributing to the development and evolution of multi-service platforms running in the cloud. The role is hands-on and suited for developers who enjoy understanding how systems behave in production, not just writing code.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot

• Design and work with microservices and distributed systems

• Participate in design discussions and technical decision-making

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional, international teams

• Contribute to system stability, scalability, and maintainability

Required experience

• Strong experience in Java backend development (Spring Boot)

• Experience with microservices and distributed systems

• Good understanding of RESTful APIs and messaging patterns

• Hands-on experience with containers (Docker; Kubernetes is a plus)

• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure)

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and production environments

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of solutions
