IT Director - Vicore Pharma

On behalf of Vicore Pharma we are recruiting an experienced and forward-thinking IT Director to lead and develop the company's IT function at the cross-section of compliance, quality and IT leadership. This is a strategic and hands-on role within a growing pharmaceutical company, where you will shape the IT landscape to meet regulatory demands and support business needs.

In this role, you will play a key part in shaping a secure and compliant IT environment that meets GxP, GDPR, and global industry standards. Leading the work to ensure that documentation, procedures, and system set-ups and maintenance are complaint with global regulations and, you will also contribute to defining the IT strategy that supports the company's future growth.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong technical background and solid experience from the pharmaceutical or biotech industry. You are well-versed in IT compliance, computer system validation, and data privacy regulations.

Main responsibilities

• Ensure IT systems and network security are implemented and maintained in accordance with current industry standards and best practices

• Further develop and lead implementation of the IT strategy roadmap ensuring that technology solutions align with business needs and objectives

• Oversee the outsourced day-to-day IT administration and support activities and manage relationship with outsourcing partner

• Support with IT administration and support as needed

• Manage the IT budget and procurement

• Participate in IT system and IT provider selection and qualification processes

• Handle and negotiate Service Level Agreements

• Lead (and conduct) computer system validation (CSV) activities of GxP regulated systems

• Contribute to development and implementation of IT compliant GxP systems, including development and maintenance of SOPs, forms, and work instructions

• Contribute to continuous review and improvement of Vicore's quality system

• Support QA team in tasks related to IT systems, regulations and audits

• Act as a primary contact for IT systems during regulatory inspections

Desired experiences and qualifications

• Technical background, an MSc degree or equivalent in a relevant technical subject

• Robust IT administrator (IT technical) skills

• Experience (>5 years) in Biotech or Pharmaceutical industry

• Experience working within IT QA, IT Compliance or similar

• Robust experience with computer system validation/qualification in GxP regulated environments

• Solid understanding of GxP regulations and requirements of IT solutions in regulated environments

• Experience working with outsourced models and establishing Service Level Agreements

• Understanding and experience working with data privacy regulations

• Experience as IT Auditor is an advantage

• Experience as Data Privacy Officer (DPO) is an advantage

• English proficiency at business level

Location

Preferably based in the Stockholm or Copenhagen region.
