INTEGRATION SPECIALIST

We are seeking an experiencedIntegration Specialistwith strong capabilities in integration design, cross-system understanding, and architectural thinking. This role is responsible for shaping and supporting our integration landscape-ensuring our applications, platforms, and data flows operate seamlessly across the organization.

You will collaborate with application owners, architects, developers, and business teams to define integration standards, support ongoing initiatives, and guide the evolution of our integration frameworks. While the role does not require deep hands-on technical development, it demands a strong structural mindset, understanding of enterprise system interactions, and clear communication.

This position is based in Stockholm with a global scope.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Integration Design & Governance

• Contribute to and maintain integration principles, guidelines, and design standards across the enterprise.
• Ensure integrations are aligned with overall architecture, security standards, and operational requirements.
• Conduct high-level assessments of integration needs and propose appropriate design patterns.

Cross-System Coordination & Solution Support

• Collaborate with application teams, domain architects, and vendors to define integration requirements and ensure consistent implementation.
• Provide guidance during solution design to ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Support project teams by reviewing integration impacts, dependencies, and architectural alignment.

Architecture & Landscape Understanding

• Maintain an overview of the integration landscape, including interfaces, data flows, and dependencies between key applications and platforms.
• Participate in architectural discussions to ensure integration fit into the broader enterprise context.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and modernize integrations across systems.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand functional needs and translate them into integration concepts and high-level designs.
• Act as a bridge between business, application teams, and technical specialists to ensure clarity and alignment.
• Communicate effectively with global teams to coordinate standards and integrate road maps.

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain clear documentation of integration designs, interface specifications, and data flows.
• Ensure integrations adhere to security, data protection, and compliance requirements.
• Support the continuous improvement of integration of governance processes.

Qualifications

WHAT'S NEEDED FOR YOU TO THRIVE

• Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience:
  • 4+ years working with enterprise applications and system integrations.
  • Experience in integration design, architectural concepts, or middleware platforms.
  • Familiarity with Mulesoft is a plus.
• Technical Skills:
  • Good understanding of how applications communicate and exchange data.
  • Ability to interpret architectural diagrams, data flows, and interface contracts.
• Language:Good communication skills in English (spoken and written).
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong structural thinking and ability to see the broader system landscape.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with global and cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to clarity and documentation.
