Are you a visionary communications leader with a passion for impactful storytelling, executive engagement, and driving business transformation across global markets? Ericsson is seeking a dynamic Head of Communications to lead and elevate our communications strategy for both our Business Area Cloud Software and Services (BCSS) and Global Service Centres (GSCs) across China, India, Mexico and Romania.
As Head of Communications, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for executive communications, media relations, strategic narrative development, external positioning, and internal communications.
What you will do
• Act as a trusted senior communications advisor to BCSS Leadership Team, including the Head of BCSS, and source of thought leadership, crafting compelling narratives and delivering world-class executive communications.
• Define and deploy BCSS strategic narrative to position us as an industry leader in cutting edge Software and Services, translate technical and commercial priorities into clear, audience-specific messages for internal and external audiences.
• Drive external communication, expanding Ericsson's presence in both traditional and non-traditional media, and working in close collaboration with Group Communication, supporting policy, regulatory, and government advocacy efforts.
• Oversee internal communications programs, strategy communication, all-employee meetings, leadership messaging, and change communication to enable business and culture transformation and employee engagement internally.
• Lead a high-performing, cross-disciplinary team responsible for executive visibility, strategic narrative development, external and employee communications.
• Mentor and grow communications talent, manage budgets and agency relationships, and ensure agile delivery and governance across regions and corporate stakeholders.
• You will work on a strategic level, but you are equally comfortable to work hands on with the organization.
You will bring
• 12+ years of progressive communications experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven expertise in enterprise B2B, telecoms, or technology sector communications.
• Strong track record in executive communications, reputation management, global media/analyst relations.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and working closely with C-suite stakeholders in a fast-paced matrix organization.
• Exceptional writing, storytelling, and messaging skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear business narratives.
• Executive presence and strong collaboration skills.
• Capabilities to think new, pushing boundaries, utilizing the advantages of digitalization and using innovative communication tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with tight deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, business, or a related field; advanced degrees or strategic communications certifications are a plus
