We believe you bring:
- Leadership experience within Scania
- A strong customer focus and business understanding
- Experience from S-order or Special Vehicles (meriting)
- A technical understanding of vehicles or product development, preferably with knowledge of Scania's modular system
You are curious, solution-oriented, and comfortable balancing operational demands with long-term development.
This Is Us
Special Vehicles is part of Scania BID. We create tailor-made solutions by creatively combining and further developing Scania's modular system - much like building with LEGO. Using existing "bricks," and refining them when needed, we craft solutions that meet unique customer demands.
Our work spans alternative fuels, electrification, heavy-duty transport, special applications, and advanced customizations. Each year, we design and build more than 10,000 Scania trucks - approximately 10-15% of total production - contributing directly to Scania's expansion into new markets and segments.
The team consists of 17 development engineers and one team leader with diverse backgrounds and experiences. This diversity strengthens our problem-solving ability and innovation capacity. We share a strong commitment to quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing is a natural part of how we work.
Here, you will join a supportive and engaged management team with clear direction and strong trust in delegated responsibility. You will have significant opportunity to shape your leadership and contribute to the continued development of the organization.
