The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Support Specialist with experience in SCADA/EMS/GMS/DMS/OMS Solutions including analytics and IT/OT integration. The right candidate will be responsible for strategy and design of the technical solutions in the sales opportunities.

How you'll make an impact

Responsible for qualifying new opportunities by using analytic and diagnostic skills to match user requirements to Hitachi Energy Network Control Solutions

Perform presentations and demonstrations of the solutions

Responsible for the design of the technical solution offered to the customer

Participate in bid preparations

Take ownership for the development of demo scenarios for customer demos, workshops and proof of concepts

Develop a deep understanding of customer challenges and needs through customer visits and meetings with a diverse range of existing and potential customers

Being a professional and self-motivated driver to understand the client's business needs, and do the mapping of their requirements with our solution portfolio in a competitive market environment

Work with virtual teams in multi-cultural environments

Ability to make the complex simple and show creativity in your approach to problem solving

Being an analytic team player with the ability to lead and follow as need requires

Your background

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or software engineering

At least 5 years of experience with an electric utility working with IT/OT integration and/or with a system integrator working with integration and analytics in the utility domain.

In-depth understanding of the use of advanced applications within the electric utilities

Broad IT/OT knowledge with experience in 3rd party system integration and IT security

Excellent writing and presentation skills

Fluency in English, additional languages such as French is an advantage

Flexibility for travel required
