Your opportunity

Join Boliden Mines as a Geologist in our Near Mine Exploration team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a permanent position based in the Boliden area, where you can make a real impact in the mining industry and contribute to driving our exploration efforts forward.

Who you will work with

You will collaborate with a diverse team of professionals who are passionate about geology and exploration. Our supportive environment encourages teamwork and innovation, and workplace safety is one of our highest priorities.

What you will do

As a geologist in near mine exploration, you work in and around our active mines in the Skellefte field, both underground and in field, to delineate known ore bodies as well as identify potential new ore bodies. You carry out exploration activities, collect and analyze geological data.

In this role, you will:

• Engage in core logging, geochemical sampling and data interpretation.
• Compile information and prepare reports.
• Work both independently and as part of a team.

What you bring

• Education: A University degree in a Geoscientific field.
• Experience: Experience in mining and exploration is a plus
• Skills: Strong computer and communication skills as well as a self-managing, service-oriented and creative mindset.
• Language: Proficiency in spoken and written English or Swedish.
• Driving license: A valid EU Category B driving licenseor similar.
