About the Assignment

You will take end-to-end ownership of customer-facing vehicle functions such as alarm, glass roof, and external load solutions across the full product lifecycle. In this role, you represent the user perspective from early concept and requirements through industrialization and follow-up in the field.

You will work in a complex automotive environment where secure, robust, and customer-focused solutions need to meet technical, legal, and regulatory expectations across global markets. Together with engineering teams, suppliers, quality, manufacturing, and product management, you will help shape how these functions are developed, verified, and continuously improved.

This is a role for you who enjoy combining strategic responsibility with hands-on execution, with real influence over important vehicle functions from idea to finished product.

Job DescriptionYou will own the functions from concept through production and aftermarket.

You will drive roadmaps and continuous improvement for the function area.

You will define and maintain functional and non-functional requirements together with the System Designer.

You will act as a key interface toward stakeholders and suppliers.

You will secure realization, verification, and validation of the functions.

You will manage interfaces with related vehicle functions and help create a well-integrated solution.

You will ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements across global markets.

You will drive root cause analysis, follow-ups, and corrective actions connected to quality issues.

RequirementsYou have experience from automotive product development, with a solid background in function development, requirement management, and driving development activities.

You have strong project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

You are comfortable taking ownership and driving work proactively in a cross-functional environment.

You are fluent in English.

You hold a B driver's license.

You can complete a basic background check covering education, employment history, identity, and citizenship verification.

Nice to haveSwedish language skills.
