WHAT YOU'LL DOAs a Financial Controller, you will take ownership of the consolidated financial reporting for H&M Group, ensuring that both internal and external requirements are met. This includes safeguarding high quality throughout the Annual & Sustainability Report (ASR) process, supported by close collaboration with colleagues across Corporate Governance, Tech, Public Affairs, Legal and Communications. You will share clear progress updates and outcomes with senior management, and contribute financial insights and scenario analyses that strengthen decision-making across the organisation. The role also carries a strong mandate to drive continuous improvements in consolidation processes, systems and ways of working to enhance efficiency and data quality.
The global Finance and Accounting function is responsible for the financial consolidation including the ASR process, ensuring accuracy and compliance. We collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare consolidated financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders
- Secure quality throughout the ASR process in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Present progress, outcomes and insights to senior management
- Provide ad hoc financial analyses, insights and scenarios to support decision-making
- Lead improvements in consolidation processes, systems and ways of working
- Strengthen efficiency and data quality across relevant reporting streams
You'll be part of the Financial Consolidation & Control (FCC) team who is responsible for producing H&M Group's monthly financial consolidation, quarterly external reports, and the Annual & Sustainability Report. The role is highly cross-functional and gives exposure to senior stakeholders within the organisation across Corporate Governance, Tech, Public Affairs, Legal and Communications.
WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for people with...
- A Bachelor or Masters degree within Business Administration & Economics (or similar)
- Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience from a similar role, experience from working within audit could be a great advantage
- Solid experience in annual reporting, sustainability reporting, and working with consolidation processes
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to plan, execute and prioritise effectively
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Solid MS office and Power BI skills
- SAP knowledge is an advantage
- Fluent in English and Swedish, both spoken and written
