Are you an analytical, hands-on finance professional who enjoys working close to the numbers while also contributing to continuous improvement? Foxway Finance is now looking for a Finance Operations & Accounting Specialist to join and strengthen our Finance Operations team.About the Role
In this role, you will act as a key bridge between Foxway Finance and the Finance/Accounting function. You will combine operational accounting work with the preparation of documentation and supporting materials used in month-end and year-end closings. You will be highly involved in bookkeeping and play an important role in ensuring accurate, structured, and well-documented financial processes.
You will be part of Foxway Finance Operations, reporting to the Manager of Foxway Finance, and work closely with the accounting team. The role has a clear focus on Foxway's financing product.
What you'll be doing
- Cost allocation and posting
- Creation, maintenance, and availability of bookkeeping documentation
- Continuous reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and preparation of supporting documentation
- Handling invoices and documentation linked to various reserves
- Ensuring and managing customer-specific accounting setups and related documentation
- Control, setup, and follow-up before and after internal and external invoicing
- Internal reconciliation and invoicing across different parts of the financed lifecycle
- Managing customer inquiries related to invoicing and fulfilling related requests
- Management and explanation of rental net income and related discrepancies
- Ongoing accounting related to customer-specific or unique events and explaining these in financial closings
- Active participation in month-end and year-end closings
- KPI reporting
- Reporting on results and current financial status versus budget
- Driving and executing sustainable development initiatives within financing, with a focus on accounting
- Master data maintenance
Who we are looking for
We believe you are a structured, proactive professional who enjoys taking ownership. To succeed in this role, you bring:
- Experience in bookkeeping/accounting and business development
- Post-secondary education in Finance/Economics or equivalent relevant experience
- Excellent Swedish and English skills, both written and spoken
- A detail-oriented, structured, and solution-focused approach
- Experience within leasing (considered a strong merit)
- A self-driven "doer" mindset
