Job descriptionWe are seeking a EUF Owner & Verification Engineer to take a key role within the Driver Environment domain, combining functional ownership with system verification. You will be responsible for shaping, securing, and validating end-user functionalities, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and regulatory expectations across global markets.

Key Responsibilities
As EUF Owner
- Drive and maintain end-user function requirements across variants and use cases
- Translate feature needs into structured functional requirements
- Review concepts and ensure alignment with quality, safety, and cybersecurity standards
- Take full ownership of functions from development through to validation and delivery
As Verification Engineer
- Plan, coordinate, and execute verification activities
- Perform testing in rigs and vehicles
- Define test setups, scenarios, and acceptance criteria
- Analyze results, troubleshoot issues, and secure release readiness
- Ensure proper integration and validation of E/E systems
Profile & Qualifications
- BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in system engineering or electrical/electronics engineering
- Strong experience in system verification and integration
- Proven ability to lead technical work and mentor team members
- Experience working in complex development environments (preferably automotive)
- Previous experience as an EUF Owner
- Hands-on experience with verification in rigs and/or vehicles
- Familiarity with tools such as KOLA, Vector tools, System Weaver, CANalyzer
- Experience working in Agile environments (PI Planning)
- Knowledge of Driver Environment systems is highly valued
- Existing network within Volvo Group is a strong advantage

Salary range: From 46,667 SEK to 56,667 SEK
The stated salary falls within the established salary range for the position and is determined based on experience, skills, and level of responsibility, in accordance with our policy of fair and non-discriminatory compensation.
