As an Engineering Manager for the Financial Systems team, you will play a crucial role in our financial infrastructure, leading a team of application specialists and developers. Your work will have a tangible impact, ensuring our financial operations are as innovative and efficient as the content we power. You'll partner directly with Finance and IT leaders, shaping the technical direction and fostering a team culture where everyone feels heard and amplified.

Your key responsibilities include

• Leading our Financial Systems team to ensure our financial operations are efficient and accurate.
• Pioneering the technical strategy for our financial systems to support Epidemic Sound's rapid growth.
• Overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our financial software.
• Ensuring data integrity and compliance with financial regulations.
• Inspiring and empowering your team, living out our values and leadership principles.
• Evaluating, selecting, and managing relationships with financial software vendors.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience leading and nurturing high-performing teams of financial systems experts.
• Proven ownership of a company's financial systems technical strategy.
• A knack for communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A history of identifying and implementing process automation and optimization.
• Strong collaboration skills, with a track record of partnering effectively with stakeholders.
• A history of fostering an inclusive and psychologically safe environment within your team
• NetSuite / ERP systems and their integration with Salesforce.

It would also be music to our ears if you have

• Invoice-to-pay software (e.g., Medius), Spend management software (e.g., Expensify), Consolidation software (e.g., Aaro), and Planning and Budgeting software (e.g., NSPB).
• Working in an agile environment.
