The Role

We are looking for an experienced data scientist with experience from defence critical development.

Independently drive NAD's data science priorities

Work in close cooperation with the flight, autonomy and seeker teams to develop effective methods in support of kinetic CUAS solutions

Build and maintain our data analysis toolchains

Required Qualifications

Advanced degree in computer science or similar knowledge

Documented experience developing for air defence applications

Demonstrated experience developing original concepts and reducing thse to practise and full deployment

Demonstrated experience developing and implementing machine learning in deployed systems

Fluency in English (the spoken language in our office)

Proficiency Linux-based development environments

Significant experience developing in Python

Can obtain work permit to work in Sweden

Desired Qualifications

Strong mathematical background including statistical methods

Proficiency in a second European language (ex. Swedish, German, French)

Safety/quality standards exposure (e.g., DO-178C, IEC-61508/ISO-26262, SIL levels)
