Role Summary

As part of this, our agile teamEE Analytics-operating within theVehicle Software Factory DefinitionVCT-is growing. We're now looking for a skilledData Engineerto help us build secure, scalable data platforms and enable analytics that drive insight and innovation across TRATON's vehicle software development.

In this role, you'll partner closely with agile team members, product owners, scrum masters, and other teams within the Vehicle Software Factory Definition VCT to deliver meaningful, high-value data solutions that make a real impact.

Job Responsibilities

As aData Engineer, you will:

• Design and build reliable, scalable data pipelines using AWS services
• Model and transform data withdbtto create clean, trusted datasets
• Manage data storage and access inSnowflakeusing RBAC principles
• Develop and deploy containers usingDocker, and provision infrastructure withTerraform
• Automate workflows and CI/CD processes usingGitLab CI/CD
• CreatePython-basedsolutions for data ingestion and integration
• Write and optimize complexSQLfor transformation, validation, and analytics
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that platform features truly support both business and data needs
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, platform security, and monitoring

Who You Are

You are a thoughtful, solution-oriented engineer who enjoys building modern, cloud-based data solutions that empower others. You bring experience with:

•AWS(S3, ECS, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM, Secrets Manager)
•Snowflakefor cloud data warehousing
•dbtfor modeling and transformations
•Dockerfor containerization
•Terraformfor infrastructure-as-code
•GitLab CI/CDfor automation and deployment
•Python(object-oriented) andSQLfor pipelines and workflows
• Basic knowledge ofApache Kafkaor other streaming platforms
• Familiarity with tools likeKeycloakfor authentication/authorization

Experience in the automotive industry is a plus, but not required. Fluency in English is necessary; Swedish is not a must.
