In this role, you will be instrumental in advancing our CMDB and ITOM capabilities, helping create a strong foundation for smarter services, better decisions, and long-term value.
Description
As Configuration Manager at Boliden, you will take on a senior and influential role in our continued ServiceNow journey. You will lead the development of a trusted, business-relevant CMDB by ensuring configuration data is accurate, consistent, and aligned with CSDM. Beyond governance and lifecycle management, you will work closely with stakeholders across IT to create engagement, build understanding, and establish ways of working that strengthen traceability between services, applications, and infrastructure.
This is a role for someone who combines deep expertise with a collaborative leadership style. You are comfortable setting direction, advising IT operations, and involving others to create momentum and shared ownership. Together with colleagues across the organization, you will help strengthen ServiceNow as a strategic platform and actively drive our CMDB journey forward with support from ITOM Discovery.
Full time assignment starting as soon as possible. You will be located at one of our business locations in Sweden, Finland, Norway, or Ireland.
What you bring
We are looking for a senior professional with the confidence to lead, the credibility to influence, and the mindset to collaborate. You build strong relationships across teams, communicate with clarity, and know how to create commitment around a shared direction. You have a university degree in IT-or equivalent experience gained through your career.
To succeed in this role:

- You combine service and product thinking with the ability to engage and guide stakeholders
- You are outcome- and value-oriented, with the ability to turn strategy into practical progress
We also value your ability to work independently while bringing people together around common goals. You are comfortable navigating multiple priorities, coordinating across functions, and creating structure in a changing environment. Experience from implementing and/or operating the CSDM concept on the ServiceNow platform is highly valued.
The role requires strong communication skills and fluency in English, both written and spoken. Additional language skills in Swedish, Finnish, or Norwegian are an advantage. A class B driver's license is required.
