We are looking for a Software Developer who wants to work with mission-critical systems within the energy sector. You will develop application software for monitoring and controlling power grids, working in a stable and well-established codebase. The assignment is based at the customer's site in central Västerås, with an on-site presence of at least 3 days per week.Qualifications
Mandatory requirements (non-negotiable)
- Strong skills in C# (alternatively, extremely high proficiency in Java)
- Experience working in large and established codebases
- Proficiency in version control using Git
- Registered for F-Tax (self-employed status)
- Valid professional liability insurance
- CV in Word format
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain application software for monitoring and control of power grids
- Work within and improve an existing, business-critical codebase
- Ensure high code quality, reliability, and system stability
- Collaborate with developers and technical specialists in an experienced team
- Contribute to the long-term technical sustainability of systems that are essential to energy supply
Nice to have
- Experience from the energy sector, industrial systems, or other mission-critical environments
- Understanding of real-time systems, monitoring systems, or control systems
- Experience from long-term assignments in stable technical environments
Other information
- Assignment location: Central Västerås
- On-site presence required at least 3 days per week
- Some assignments may require compliance with customer-specific security requirements
