For our client in Automotive we are looking for aBuyer within IT.

Assignment description

• Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms.
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation.
• Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.
• Assess, manage and mitigate risks, cybersecurity and compliance Seek and partner with reliable suppliers.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, preferably with a focus on IT, software, SaaS or cyber security. Alternatively, experience of working with purchasing projects in another technical role.
• Proven experience of manageing your own purchasing projects from start to finish, but also being able to support purchasing aspects of projects owned and run by others.
• Accustomed to support and collaborate with different parts of the organisation in their projects and needs.

Skills & knowledge

• Good understanding of purchasing processes, contract negotiations and supplier management.
• Experience of working in various administrative systems, including purchasing and contract platforms.
• Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written (Swedish not required).

Working methods

• Ability to work independently and in a structured manner, but also as part of a global team.
• Experience balancing own projects with support roles in others initiatives.
• Strong administrative skills and enjoys order, documentation and processes, but is still able to adapt to a changing organisation.

Location

• Hybrid solution: 1-2 days in the office, the rest remotely.
• Global experience of collaborating with colleagues/suppliers in several countries.

Meritorious

• Experience of working with suppliers and projects in India.
• Experience from international organisations or global projects.
• Basic understanding of data privacy and cybersecurity requirements in the supply chain.
• Basic understanding of sustainability requirements in the supply chain.
