Role Summery

We're expanding our team and looking for a Business IT Analyst (BA) to join our Conversion team in the Coordination of Product Instance and Product Adaptations department.

As a Business IT Analyst, you'll act as a crucial link between users, customers, and internal development projects within Scania IT. You'll be responsible for managing communication with key business areas-understanding their needs and translating them into effective IT solutions and strategic changes in both process and technology.

Job Responsibilities

You'll work hands-on in a cross-functional agile team consisting of a Product Owner, Tester, Business Analysts, and Rebuild Engineers-who are also end users of the Conversion application.

  • Collaborate with the development team across the entire agile development process.
  • Gather business requirements, define goals, and build strong business cases.
  • Lead and drive pre-studies and initiatives that shape the future of our product area.
  • Act as a Conversion ambassador-promoting its capabilities to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support users with troubleshooting and day-to-day guidance.

Who You Are

We're looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic role, enjoys working with a wide range of products and systems, and is passionate about bridging business and IT.

Personal qualities:

  • You explain complex solutions clearly and tailor the message for engineers vs. stakeholders, translating trade-offs into impact (cost, risk, timeline), and aligning people on decisions.
  • You handle multiple priorities, setting expectations, delegating, and keeping initiatives moving.
  • You're a humble, driven team player who builds trust fast, collaborates across teams, and gives/receives feedback as part of your way of working.
  • You're curious and adaptable which results in you learn quickly, adjusting when priorities shift, and constantly looking for better ways to work, innovate, and deliver.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or Business-or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Business IT Analyst or similar role.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience with or knowledge of Scania's service market is a plus.

We place great value on your personality and team fit. Our team culture is built on collaboration and mutual support-we grow stronger together.

This Is Us
